I am guessing it will be extended..but it should be known in the mid may budget release...so you will have time to dash in if its about to end...
its not just the fhb grant thats stimulated the lower end...I believe it is the interest rate cuts...and the lower house prices

sure 21000 plus state govt puts up more for a new home, is a great attraction, regarding getting into a home.....10% off as a gift on 300,000...but its not everything

but some would have been saving for a deposit under the old scheme of 7000 grant...so lower rates, lower house prices...must have looked attractive for them
then lock in the low rates for 5 years or more

maybe things will have stabilized by sep....I believe you will always find a prop that suits you in any market

talked to my banker today...lots of people refinancing to get lower rates, and upgrading props...he said its not just fhb out there...which bank
