Before you completely diss apartments ( not my personal choice btw ) , you need to be aware of the trends in property .
There's quite a big movement to smaller properties , thanks partly to baby boomers but also to a general increase in single person households or smaller families .
While I don't necessarily think that big apartment towers are ideal , certainly multiple properties on one site are . Partly for lifestyle reasons but also for economic reasons .
Ahem . Did anyone mention land getting more expensive ?
