Because they're getting a bargain sexythang - nothing comes for nothing with these instos - $5.71 and they don't have to fight anyone for it - after 12 months they could swallow Santos - if investors let them. I think this was a desperate move to stop Santos getting brocken up and leaving Adelaide but at some point in the future I think it will happen - Hony can increase their stake after 12 months above 9% so they could be the thin end of the wedge.
