actually the roasts were PIGGYBACK ROAST.. ie beef roast wrapped in pork belly...
as mentioned in the first post - the expiry date was 28 december - .. well, watso cooked one about 2 months ago (and watso is still alive) - and is now cooking the second one.
the roasts were stored in the fridge (ie not the freezer) .
