Although not from Bunbury WA, (I will soon be moving into the heart of WA's Wheatbelt), Bunbury some years ago was rated as having the world's most pleasant and equitable climate all year round
With that it has close proximity to WA's south western tip (Margaret River..wine, surf and a heap of good things to do) plus being far enough away from Perth not to have the big city life. The fishing is good, the fresh food from the local area is good, it's not a bad place at all.
