    Yep great post, and agree Watso...Perth is a very pretty city. '54 a great year for me, 'twas the year I was born in Perth...

    Many memories reside of a city before it grew up, like the local rubbish tip for landfill being on Heirisson Island...who would believe that today!
    Driving with my parents on a back track made of wooden boards through snake bush to City Beach in the late fifties.

    Aaahhh, they were the days alright.
