Has anyone experienced missing refund cheque from Advanced Share...

Has anyone experienced missing refund cheque from Advanced Share Registry? Last November I applied for shortfall of TAS new issues, I was not allocated any shortfall and was expecting a refund cheque from Advanced. After weeks waiting I only was advised that the cheque had been fraudulent presented at a remote town in QLD. I am chasing Advanced Share for my refund but was denied , saying they have posted the cheque unregistered to my address and wash their hands. Anyone can help shed some light with similar experience ?
