Wouldn't that depend on the terms offered by the broker for shorts by the retailer?

Or are all brokers required to give the same terms and conditions for short trades? For instance the available margin varies quite a lot I understand. Depending on the broker, duration, and security or commodity involved.

For instance for oil margins well over 100% are available for short terms positions. In these cases it's a good idea to set the target and stop loss when the position is taken IMO.

I will take a look at the post on FGE as you suggest. Once again thanks.
