I understand the ignore button saves time and helps one to get to the heart of whatever matter is being discussed
But I have time to read posts and I like to know when someone is abusing me--often in a indirect way by responding to someone I have on ignore
Then the conversation can get garbled and so it suits me not to use the ignore button
I have however been suspended a few times for responding to an attack and so the ignore button may have avoided that
Such is life and in the end everything in these sorts of threads is soon forgotten!
