QC Technician - Production Coating

A vacancy within our Production Group exists for a QC Technician – Production Coating. You will be required to carry out a variety of quality control inspections (Pre and Post Coating) within a friendly and objective driven team, reporting to the Production Manager.

Skills and Experience Required:
-At least two years QA/QC inspection experience in a technical, medical or science related area;
Proven experience in microscopic inspection and be very familiar with the use of microscopes (this is a large portion of the job and potential applicants should be extremely competent in this area);
Familiarity working within a clean room environment;
Experience in the use of measurement equipment;
Proven knowledge with quality systems including documentation auditing and test methods working to ISO13485 and FDA requirements;
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and Strong interpersonal skills;
Be able to read and interpret the technical documentation including drawings and the ability to write technical reports as required;
Accurate, methodical and attention to detail;
Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.


Preferable:
Advanced certificate or equivalent in an engineering or science based course;
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
