arthuros, IMO it is not the rate of production that is important, but the size of the asset they own.
Notwithstanding a proposed revaluation of reserves later this year, the current MC of BYE is about twice the value of (BYE's share of) the oil reserves of SM71. So the market is pricing in some possibility of further discoveries.
The realisation of oil into $ accelerates their opportunity to search for more oil, but that is all.
Mu understanding based on previous announcements is that they are not looking to do any more research until much later into 2018, possibly 4th (calendar) quarter.
