Shareholder: [Regarding the EGM following any spill to be held immediately after AGM] In light of the fact that three directors have just resigned, do you think it makes sense to postpone the EGM, given it must be held within 90 days, to a later date to allow shareholders to consider other potential board candidates?
Chairman: No, I do not believe that meeting should be postponed.
Well, isn't this revealing in light of your request for postponement, the resignations of ALL independent directors and appointment of new directors by the non-independent directors.
Does it look like this whole thing was a fix from the start? When we're racking up losses of $6m odd every year for the last 2 years does anyone wonder why it's all so negative on the price front? Will ASIC be acting on this? Will the company (shareholders) be fined because of this? Why is our board so focused on this type of underhanded behaviour rather than getting on with business?
