MCC has been bid this morning. M & A in the coal sector is a no brainer in the next few years and,potentially, a number of quality Aussie coal companies will be disappearring over the coming months/years.
I would have thought a bigger coal player would be looking to have a piece of the roo, given they will not be subject to carbon taxation issues going forward.
Whilst I understand the footprint Bayan have on this one, some exposure to the potential being offered by tying up with Bayan and Inodnesion coal assets should not be underestimated.
