Heard Carr's maiden speech in Parliament this week.
It was well attended by both sides; afterall Carr has the John Laws golden tonsils and this vast intellect and encyclopaedic knowledge. Well it was a shocker. He showed off with random obscure Wikipedia facts but with no humour, purpose or heart. Perhaps this dried up old hasbeen has early dementia and Gillard has shown her usual reverse Midas touch.
