"TORONTO (miningweekly.com) ? Potash prices will continue to rise in 2011 as the gap between supply capacity and demand for the crop nutrient narrows, Potash Corp of Saskatchewan CEO Bill Doyle said on Thursday...
Doyle also commented that the Chinese buyers had wanted more tonnage for the first half than they ended up agreeing to, which means that volumes for the second half are likely to be higher.
Spot prices are also expected to rise this year, he said.
?This market is going to be supply constrained. And when you get in a supply-constrained market, you are going to see prices move up more rapidly.?
In a Stock Report I subscibe to(Trident confidential) it said that:
"The United Nations reported that food production must rise by 70% Worldwide by 2050"
Sounds like we need Lots and Lots of that Potash...
Go FMJ and Good Luck to all!
