The grades here actually aren't too bad imo. You can't compare directly with solution mining, its a very different process. In the case of a lake brine, the potash is already in solution and is evaporated to precipitate (or otherwise separate) the potash salt (in this case likely to be SOP - potassium sulphate, or perhaps a mineral containing magnesium, sulphur and potassium). With solution mining water is injected to first dissolve the potash salt (MOP or potassium chloride) and then it is brought to the surface to evaporate. The capex requirements of the two are also very different.

The location of the lake with respect to infrastructure gives them something of an advantage over RWD's WA projects at Lake Mackay and Lake Disappointment. I would buy a few on spec but the <0.5c share price is a bit of a turn off (how did it get there?), as are the gripes about management.
