JRV's potash resource may well be quite low grade, but I thought it was noteworthy that in his address at the AGM the chairman mentioned the possibility of evaporating potash solutions to produce a clean potassium chloride, as others are doing in NW WA.
If it is possible to do the evaporation via ponds then this would appear to me a relatively inexpensive method for treating the potash solutions.
A lot of table salt is produced this way, and it is a pretty inexpensive commodity !
