NEW YORK, March 5 (newratings.com) - Analysts at UBS maintain their "neutral" rating on Potash Corporation (POT.NYS), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from $158 to $176.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company is well positioned to meet the increasing demand for potash, given its substantial reserves and related potash investments. Low cost operations and long-life reserves boost Potash’s phosphate and nitrogen businesses, the analysts say. The EPS estimates for 2007 and 2008 have been raised from $7.41 to $7.61 and from $8.04 to $8.68, respectively.
