yeah heard it all, my only concern is how much of the worlds grain demand growth is coming from lot feeders and biofuels - these are more discretionary than milling grain.

its a fact that as the world grows more affluent growth in food consumption comes in the form of protein not bread. which is great because to produce a decent steak you generally need to lotfeed = more grain demand.

however people will not buy a steak at any price. biofuel industry will not buy corn or barley or canola when the prices of these grains exceed a certain oil price.

bottom line - i'm hopeful, but i'm not so sure sky high grain prices are inevitable IN THIS ECONOMIC CLIMATE.
