It was certainly BHP Billiton's thwarted $38 billion tilt at the Canadian fertiliser group Potash Corporation, that galvanised attention on this sector.
And in that connection, one has to be excited by that phrase "world-class potash asset" in yesterday's Announcement. We're obviously talking something of decent size.
Who knows ...perhaps in time, FMJ could satisfy BHP's unrequited love affair with the commodity.
