I do not know why they walk away from two "world-class deposits."

I can only guess that it is not easy to mine that stuff perhaps there are insolubles in the potash layer that hinder the flow of water.

What I would like to have seen is that payments are contingent upon achieving certain drilling, testing and production milestones. That way, no result, no payment, which would be the best safeguard for shareholders.

Better still, the payments are in shares, so that they have a vested interest in the success of the venture.
