    Potash to shine in 2016

While Adrian Griffin, of Lithium Australia, is involved in lithium now, he is a veteran of the international mining industry and a keen market observer.
He sees great potential for the development of potash resources, despite the forecast boost in price for the fertiliser in 2015 not materialising.
"There were a couple of things that affected the market," Mr Griffin said.
"The Russians broke up their cartel a few years back which depressed prices but the agricultural market itself has been depressed and as a consequence we've had a lesser demand for fertiliser."
Mr Griffin believes that will turn around this year.
"There's absolutely no doubt that the expected agricultural boom will bring about the price change," he said.
"Too a large extent I'll take the lead off many of the pundits, and they are saying that this year will be a big year in potash."
