I wonder how close Madam Cheung is to this potash asset!!!

I dont think she would go ahead and invest $2.4m @ 40c a share when the sp would have been 30c at the time negotiations were done, if she thought FMJ was a 50/50 chance of getting the deal over the line.

She must be very confident FMJ is a 99% chance I feel.

Its a win/win for both parties.

    Thats my gut feeling.

"Even though it raised funds for the float last December at just 20c a share, the board yesterday announced it had entered an alliance with Hong Kong's Grand Concord and principal owner Madam Cheung to buy six million shares at 40c a share.

The reason for the hefty premium is a potential deal in which an as-yet unidentified major potash asset in Central Asia would be folded into Fortis.

Madam Cheung would emerge with a 13 per cent stake in Fortis if the deal goes ahead, with two million shares issued in a placement and a further four million to be issued subject to shareholder approval at a shareholder meeting"
