India is pushing potash and phosphate suppliers to lower the prices they are charging for the crop nutrients, claiming that a weakening rupee and climbing potash and phosphate prices are pushing Indian farmers out of the market.

To much to post but an interesting read.

It does talk of the indian situation in depth even though i beleive this is through currency constraints, and might only be a temporary situation.
But it does give the hint of continuing global price declines.

Is this why the DD might be taking so long, and hence this project might not obtain a higher price tag as some here allude to?
