    Hadn't heard of Quine's classification of paradoxes, but he sounds like someone who should get a real job. smile.png

    Oxford definition of a paradox appears to be:

    "A seemingly absurd or contradictory statement or proposition which when investigated may prove to be well founded or true"

    "Veridical" only means true. The potato "paradox" as represented provides no absurdity, contradiction or truth so under this definition would appear to be just a puzzle with an answer that is surprising to math-challenged people (but you can't believe anything I say rolleyes.png ).
