What do you mean the trials can't go ahead until ethics approval? Aren't they running the trials right now out in Perth? On the linear website they keep having different cohorts starting on different dates. When the dates pass, more trials are listed but a different cohort number. So I don't know what happens if the groups aren't filled up. WA is right in the thick of its first covid wave, so undoubtedly that is causing some delays with participant availability and staff at the facility, but there is no indication on the website that things aren't going ahead.
I have been in NSB for around 9 months, but I wasn't aware of all these delays for trials. That's frustrating to see, so I hope they can get themselves together soon.
