I think you'll find those shares have been there for a while and yes it's very common in penny stocks for people to prop a stock by putting fake orders on the buy side, and also very common for people to attempt to 'cap' a share price by placing fake sell orders higher up on the sell side in hope of psychologically convincing people to sell their shares cheaper so others can accumulate at a lower share price and once they have their 'fill' they then remove their sell orders and let the share price run 'naturally'. So I wouldn't be concerned with it on this stock if I was you. There are however some penny stocks I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole and the FA is somewhat of a total mess and the only reason the SP ever goes up is when someone is attempting a 'pump and dump', these are the ones you want to be careful of.
