The fact they have deemed this unworthy of an official clarification shows either gross negligence or total ineptitude. In the absence of any clarification the market will assume the worst as the SP is showing as I type! To say a close to 20% drop in SP over the last 2 days is due to market fluctuations as opposed to a false/incorrect statement from a once respected news paper about potential CR is naive at best , ludicrous at worst. Management could fix this with a two sentence ASX Ann but they haven't. Which raises credibility issues to put it politely!
if they have nothing to hide it is a very simple exercise to notify the market!
