It means a lot if you buy at this price instead of at 24c.
In some respects there is a benefit from the low share price: If the company is actually doing well employees are incentivised to buy more (although there are insider trading issues). This in turn means you end up with a more staff owned company which should in theory improve staff performance and also reduce the need to retention costs when dividends start flowing. Non recourse loans or franchising of the HX's could result in low risk profitable financing.
One possibility is that there are already 8+ Hx's possibly including more advanced features about to roll out of the workshop. On the other hand another possibility is that they are about to sign a risky convertible note with a vulture fund.
