Palaszczuk and labor are too funny. They are all about the people but they screw the miners for inflated royalties just try and balance their haemorrhaging budget and give limited relief to people on power prices. Now the feds hurt them and they are screaming foul.
I would imagine TER will remain largely unaffected by this with long term buyers offshore. Not sure how much capacity local coal suppliers have to divert their coal to export and increase competition to market…even if the users wanted to change product and supply.
Price of coal going up but TER still dropping. Wish someone could explain that????
