    Hello,

The article below was placed on the Hotcopper forum and is quite disconcerting.

    https://techcrunch.com/2016/11/22/d...e-one-smart-earbuds-wont-ship-until-february/

Doppler’s Here One earbuds are unnervingly similar to IQbuds.

We have known about Doppler for a while and follow their activities closely. Although they appear to be the closest of any of the truly wireless earbuds to IQbuds™ its telling that we still havent seen anyone using them and still don’t know what what their functionality set will be when launched. We are very confident that our SINC™ technology will be second to none in its ability to allow customers to control how they hear the world around them.

This as i see it is a big problem in terms of real market competition for Nuheara.

Competition is a given in the consumer electronics market. We’d be more worried if there wasn’t competition. What we do is very difficult and there are barriers to entry because of that, but we are sure they wont be the only competitor dabbling in this space. This is a massive market.

Doppler claim they have been working on them for years.

Don’t buy the hype. They may have been, but they only announced their Here One product in June/July this year. We have been very clear about the promise of IQbuds™ since early 2015 and we crowdfunded IQbuds™ in April/May 2016, well before Hear One was announced.

The questions on the Hotcopper forum is “who is copying who”?

    See last answer.

It appears our only advantage is the delay of Here One shipping date, until February 2017?

When we finally get to see what they have we’ll be able to do a side by side. We have designed a fantastic product that even in its early prototype stages was blowing people away (see videos on www.nuheara.com). Based on our most recent pre-production units we couldn’t be more confident about consumer acceptance of IQbuds™. But please be assured that we are building a business, not just a product and although we are focused on short term execution, we also see this as long term exercise in building shareholder value.

As my partner and i are both shareholders in Nuheara, a comment about this would be appreciated.

Happy to answer your questions and thanks for your support xxxx.

i would like to be able to offer your comments to the Hotcopper forum, as well.

    Kind regards,
