Um, you are aware that we got a LREE concentrate in the mix which should bring in about 20% of revenue? 90% of that in turn are neodymium and praseodymium, cf p 14 of this presentation:

And yes, we (or rather ShinEtsu) are going to produce all the other lanthanids, including Samarium, too ...

In fact, Sm = Samarium ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samarium ) is especially mentioned in the flowsheet (p 10 of the above presentation).
So yes, it's relevant.
