    No, poster is correct. A $1 dividend would require LTR to payout approx’ $2.2B in a payment plus the extra for tax for fully franked. That would make it approx’ $3.14B out of the bank.

    That ain’t going to happen. I’m sure the BOD will release a sensible dividend policy at some stage when the cash is actually building.

    A lithium company recently released a policy of between 20-30% of FCF. That resulted in an 11c dividend for 3B shares in a 6 month period. Proportionally, do the maths and LTR would have paid approximately 17c for 6 months. That would be a more realistic guide during a period of exceptional Lithium pricing.
