I've been scanning the databases I have access to for the last 3 weeks since JORC and nada in the aussie media.
WRT LYC, yes it is a political football in malaysia without any substance. Still one of the conditions when the temporary license was granted is that LYC have to demonstrate a way to safely store or dispose of their waste before they can get a full licence. Lowering the radioactivity through dilution with PEK's concentrate could be an option.
Obviouly it becomes a much more likely proposition with genuinely highly radioactive deposits such as GGG.
