Thank you Kiwigeo for explanation. Indeed I meant full core especially to find out exact permeability of formation. But was not aware of sidewall core, which actually once analysed, could also explain if something went wrong during drilling. TBH I am hoping that they will be analysing both..... The mentioning of side track core analyses if both cores types are analysed can also be compared with original drill, for confirmation of data sets and operation while drilling, although I suspect in drilling there is no recording of operation practices.
