Scott also said that at the top of the Upper Angwa the pressure overbalance was little bit higher than what was in the Pebbly Akrose. If it was a single hydrocarbon column the overbalance should decrease as you go deeper. So, I would take from these comments that there are two separate hydrocarbon columns. The diagram provides a possible scenario.
