IMO they have already stated that. ( barite has filled the complete sidewall core plug)
Deterioration is likely due to heavy water-based mud utilised as a precaution during drilling,
And yes.....is likely the coming core results will show that, time will tell.
MK-1 was a wild cat drill in a unknown geology, and initial drilling and service provider issues have exacerbate
the complexity of its operations, this is still what I want to believe.
I do have some reservation on decisions regarding why core test the original MK-1 in stead of the side track,
where they did go down slightly underbalanced, but is possible that they don't have available cores, either SWC or WHC from ST...
In fact I don't recall any core logging operations from the ST, ?!
Not sure what useful info from rock cuttings we can get, either than prove that barite has filled the complete sidewall core plug.....
Also not sure how relevant they would be in the whole context of choosing a MK-2 location.
On AI I am not a qualified person to comment,
but just wondering if there may be needed 2 different data sets (different locations) for AI use to have any meaning.
