Any "deviation" from vertical is a deviated well.
Drilling a well as a single hold section right from surface as you've described is easy enough with a small mineral rig with a mast that can be tilted. Not an option for a rig designed for oil and gas work. Your conductor also needs to be vertical in order to support the BOP.
