Hi Rustybullet1,
A very good point - its been good to have another look at this - and yes the potential for oil to be reservoired down dip of gas is IMO, from what has been mentioned by IVZ to date, applicable to all the Mukuyu structure fault blocks based on the principle outlined in Slide 2.
For yourself and those who may be interested:
Slide 1 - Current Top Upper Angwa Depth Map:
- the Line of section A to B is for the Southern Fault Block - Mukuyu-1 and refers to Slide 2.
- the thinner dashed lines are just indicating the other Mukuyu Structure fault blocks
Slide 2 (full review Posted on 11/5/23) - outlines how IMO for Upper Angwa Alternation Sequences that lie intersected by the zone of transition - where source rocks move from predominantly oil to gas generation - that a situation can exist where oil generated over the structure's crest can be subsequently displaced down dip by gas being generated within the same Alternation Sequence's source rocks.
Slide 2 best understood reading from points 1 through to 10.

Cheers
