The board and CEO are involved in negotiating a multi billion dollar deal.
Highly sensative, and trying to extract the maximum from maybe the sale of some assets from the various potential purchasers, and renegotiate the finance with competing banks.
Both here in Australia and internationally.
NO company would give a public running commentary.
Of course the market hates uncertainty, and the share price is reflecting just that.
Very frustrating.
But that is how it must be for now.
