My experience: smallish company, with no IT department. Bulletproof ran mail servers, hosted systems, provided 24/7 for business critical IT infrastructure. Provided tools to monitor these.
I'm guessing, if you were using something like AWS, then Bulletproof would help set it up and then monitor it.
I'm assuming, in some cases, that they also buy the physical racks which go in the data centres and then work with the data centers to monitor them.
