TO was talked about a couple of years ago when Vocus, who owned 16% of MAQ, were taking over Amcom, M2, etc, but nothing happened, I don't think the Tudehope brothers, who own around 60% of MAQ, were interested. Just as well, as VOC went pear shaped and they sold their holding early last year. Also, I owned Amcom, another great little telco that would have been going as well as MAQ if they rejected the TO, so I would have got burnt twice if MAQ had followed suit.
As for anyone else taking them over, I wouldn't have a clue, guessing it would have to be a fantastic offer that the brothers couldn't refuse. At the moment it seems to be MAQ on the TO trail, so keep IAB on the watch list. GL.
