potential is massive.

ok.lets just have a recap on where we are at the moment .
cvn now has 3 producing oil fields on 2 large onshore exploration permits covering 8000 sq km.this exploration is fully supported by the thai govt as Thailand needs new oil discoveries.
last year 7 of 8 wells were succesfull and the current rate from that campaign is 800bopd.
na sanun east has now been confirmed as a new oil discovery with poe 9 on production at 389 bopd.drilling intersected 4 potential oil zones only one of which has been evaluated,so there is huge upside potential for futher success.to futher evaluate these ,high impact targets have been identified by a 3d seismic survey and a programme of 6 wells will apprase all 4 volcanic resevoir zones.
ns4 has now confirmed that indeed this is a new oil field discovery with oil production now on line flowing at 686 bopd in the first of 5 potential volcanic oil targets.
now based on these good results the joint venture is redrilling ns1 which is only 800m from ns4 which when drilled by another operator who did not correctly cement isolate the well produced 1400bopd,before watering out.so the chances are we are going to have a hit...
Now because of this success 7 more locations are planned for drilling the na sunin oil basin.A second rig is due to begin drilling within the next 2 weeks which aims to appraise the L44-G and L44-H to the north of poe9....and as they state "have the potential to significantly increase the extent of the na sanun oil field.".
So what we have in place is a drilling campaign which aims to be going at a rate of 4 per month..i estimate that each succesfull hit will be worth at least 5c to the sp...sounds exciting now doesnt it.....
I think the other thing we all need to bare in mind is the number on things you must look at in a company and that is the quality of the management...and we have a corker in Ted Jacobson,a petroleum geologist/geophsicist with 37 years oil experience,who was the founder and technical director of Tap oil and the co founder of discovery petroleum...doesnt get much better...
All in all this could be a fantastic ride,and with news weekly,the potential here is massive...good luck to all
