Yep, 2 Billion worth of capital. It probably won't be Tallow who will be the JV partner as they look pretty busy as it is.
It is more likely that Tallow will be one of a few JV partners. The split wil probably be FAR keeping 40% on the first well and splitting 50% between 3 partners.
They will sell the 50% off for something like 17 million (capital layout and expenses) plus being free carried. For this part of the globe it is a cheap expense for the reward.
Having 3 new JV partners minimises the risk for all parties and allows those partners to participate in any further drilling should the first be a success.
Who ever gets the greater split of the 50% (30, 10, 10) will controll the drilling and have inside information of any success first.
The fact taht Tallow is having success in the area makes it a more attractive proposition, and FAR will make sure that this is not lost on potential JV partners.
