looking at potential JV partners, with Hudbay on top of my list.
Their Copper World project in Arizona, USA has a very similar feel to HCH so clearly they are interested in this part of the copper mining market. They are also looking for a JV partner.
Hudbay have a strong balance sheet with low leverage, indicating that they also have room to take on debt in order to finance an additional investment such as HCH and fund their part of the capex..
Hudbay was also previously exploring in the La Verde area, so this was of interest to them, but in the end they gave up as they could not achieve consolidation of the landholdings.
