Thanks @sirjohnnyboy.  Your points are reasonable, however, the incompetence reason is still the most likely cause IMHO but certainly a restricted initial budget and working capital would have exacerbated the failure.  And the same people are going to be given another load of cash so lets pray they do it right this time.

As regards a major getting involved.  Don't see this as possible given all majors care about it JORC and grade for their half yearly projections.  No JORC then they can't add it to the profit forecast.

Not sure what you mean by the OGXOBs getting a break with the new major investor.  I think that boat has sailed unfortunately unless you know something I don't.
