I'm not going to spend a huge amount of time trying to present any further analysis -especially when the essence of the analysis provided by other consists of a single word or a ditty of some sort (that's incompetence IMHO).  Please don't take umbrage at my comments -I love a decent discussion with opposing points of view and insights -just haven't seen any so far this thread.

I do have a few questions:

    1.  How many people have actually read and tried to analyse the announcement of 9th December "Independent Technical Reviews Support Recommencement of Operations at Cascavel"?

I'm not going to spoon feed anyone ...it's on the net (and it looks quite comprehensive if you ask me) -do yourself a favour and read it (comprehensively).

    2.  How can we say that it is unlikely that a major would enter into a JV agreement with us when the company has told us that:

    a.  That we have entered into discussions and actually discussed terms of the deal.
    b. These negotiations are the reason for the continuation of the suspension.

If all this potential JV is unlikely ... it is essentially saying that the company are bare-faced liars (now that is unlikely IMHO).

    3.  How may of us have EVER relied on the advice of others (including professionals) -only to find out that they were wrong.  All of us probably.  Let's not be too judgemental, superior and dare I say it hypocritical.
OGX have said that "A number of other operational and management changes will be made once the capital raising is completed."  Let's wait to find out the full story before we attribute blame to the whole of OGX.

    My suggestions to OGX:

A few months I suggested to the company that OGX should consider extending the main shaft down 50 m or so, that it is out of the unstable weathered rock that was proving so difficult.  They replied that they had already considered this option and that this was a likely solution.  This and a possible game-changing technology regarding an on-site assay lab is the scope of my current suggestions.  I'm also looking at potential improvements in the areas of exploration results obtained from drilling for free gold -and that is one reason why I will be unlikely to respond to further discussion in-depth:  I plan to be productive.

Let me leave you with a few predictions:

    1. The gold is there (not a prediction really ...see Dec 9 Report).
    2. Those who don't get their entitlement are going to live to regret it (up to you -haters gonna hate), however the major shareholders and option holders who can afford it will be grateful to you ...when they apply for any shortfall.
    3. We will hear more of the plan to recommence operation shortly -which will be comprehensive.
    4. The JV discussions with a major are real and will be completely game changing if they come off.
    5. The Cap-Raising dates may be altered to reflect the potential JV and the effect this has had on reinstatement to the ASX.
    6. If we have a JV Ann it will cause a major re-rating in company value and a major re-think by those not wanting to participate.
    7. Even with no JV news, a comprehensive plan to recommence operations should be supporting of the SP and see us not touch the cap raise price (which had already dropped significantly).
I was lucky enough to have studied the course "Management of Complex Projects" at UQ as part of a Masters degree centered on management of innovation.  There is a whole range of reasons why this fits the mold of a complex project and although they present lucrative opportunities -they also present complex problems including language and cultural differences and difficulties.

Yes, it was a fiasco and a stuff-up -but at least the company has taken decisive comprehensive action to resolve the many issues.

This is my opinion only -please don't be lazy and take anyone's word for anything -verify your own information and make your own decisions.

    Cheers,

    SJB
