Was having a read of AFR's subscription terms. Seems like there may not be a potential for a lawsuit. It says this for "Managing Your Subscription" http://www.copyright link/newspaper-subscription-terms:

"When registering as a subscriber, you must provide us with accurate, complete and up-to-date information, as requested."

However, I could not find anywhere that said AFR also needed to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information to it's subscribers. I suppose if they had those terms in there they would not be able to publish too many sensationalist stories.
