100 years from now oil consumption will be so low whats the point of even pulling the oil up to get the lithium. (plastics/consumer products). None will be used for energy/transportation because the environmental factors are still there

what do you do with the rest of the oil that has no demand?. Put it back in the ground?.
It may look cost effective at the moment with the world oil consumption. But what happens when oil demand drops?. Dont think it looks so cost effective then.
