Hi apouse, I'm uncertain of the amount of time that would be required to refine this process of lithium recovery, because, as I look through the list of lithium recovery steps, some of the lithium seemed to have been lost in the recovery process, and concentrations of other minerals remained. It may, or may not, become a lithium disruptor in time, however, it may take several years to perfect the technology, and I would question the quality of lithium product and costs at the end of the process? It seems that there are too many unknowns at this point, and that the process is still patent-pending. An interesting article, nevertheless, however, I can't see it being an immediate threat to current lithium extraction methods. It would be interesting to get some insights from those in the lithium sector.
